This week on the farm… (August 30th-September 4th)
Tuesday: 7:30am-4:30pm (hour break for lunch)
We will be weeding potatoes, harvesting potatoes, and laying them out to cure in the hoop house. We will also be preparing some beds for our fall planting! This will involve spreading fertilizer on the beds, and then a good amount of tractor work.
We will be harvesting food for 100 people!
This involves things like clipping eggplant, picking peppers, picking tomatoes, pulling & bunching leeks, and more! We will also be sorting tomatoes, arranging the cooler in a neat fashion, and labeling the various crops that are in there.
