Suburban Foraging: A Wild Edibles Walk and Tasting

Wednesday, July 13th 5pm – 7:30pm and Friday, July 15th 5pm – 7:30pm

For those of you who are interested in learning about the wild plants you can eat or use as medicine, we are running workshops on Wednesday, July 13th and Friday 15th, beginning at 5pm.

Suburban Foragers, Paul Tappenden and Adrienne Gomez will lead a walk around the farm to identify and gather examples of edible and medicinal plants, which will include black raspberries, milkweed, lambsquarters and purslane.

There is a charge of $20 a head ($10 for children under 13), which will all go to help the farm.  Workshops will take place as planned, unless the weather is really miserable.

There will be two more workshops, on dates to be decided.  We would like to give everyone a chance to have this experience.  If you would like to attend, but cannot make the above dates, contact Paul at, and let us know what days and times are best for you, and we will try to accommodate you.
